
World mangrove day, with an announcement“ registration for Mangrove Youth Ambassador 2025 is officially open!” it is awaited with high enthusiasm by the young generation who want to take a role in environmental conservation, especially mangrove ecosystems.
Registration is done online, so participants from various regions can participate easily. In the form, prospective participants are asked to fill in their personal data, motivation to participate in activities, and knowledge about mangrove ecosystems.
Here Comes the thrilling moment: interview selection. One by one participants enter the interview room, sit in front of the jury, and answer various questions. The topic is exciting: there is a matter of mangrove ecosystems, environmental issues that are warm, to public speaking skills.
This interview not only assesses insight, but also the participants ‘ confidence and ability to convey ideas clearly. Many were nervous at the beginning, but the warm atmosphere of the judges made this process a valuable experience as well as a learning one. finally, the 10 best couples were chosen. They are not only smart, but also have a real passion to care about the coast.




Provisioning
Then began a period of intensive debriefing for 3 days. The atmosphere of the debriefing was full of enthusiasm. On the first day, the finalists received public speaking materials, which trains them to speak in public with confidence, straightforwardness and touch. This exercise is not just a speech technique, but also teaches how to convey the message of the environment in order to be able to embrace everyone without exception. The second day, they were invited to know more about mangrove ecosystem. The material is full of illustrations, interesting facts about mangrove ecosystems, mangrove functions ecologically and economically, its role as a home for biodiversity, to its relation to climate change mitigation, to a small discussion about the threat of environmental damage.
After that, the finalists are asked to draw up an action plan: participants are divided into small groups to design real campaign activities to maintain mangrove ecosystem. Creative ideas have sprung up, ranging from digital mangrove care campaigns, community-based waste treatment, to environmental education programs for coastal schools.
Afternoon session becomes the peak of excitement: go straight to the field get to know mangroves more closely. They walked down the wooden bridge and mangrove roots. Every now and then there is laughter when someone almost slips, but that’s exactly what makes them even more familiar.
The finalists visited the forest guarding post managed by The Village Forest Management Agency (LPHD) and the Supervisory Community Group (Pokmaswas) to find out the role of the community in maintaining forest areas. From here, they learn in real how to maintain mangrove forests is not just a discourse, but requires real action, mutual cooperation, and sustainable concern.

The last day of debriefing signals that the time of separation is approaching. The determining time for eligibility to become a mangrove child is 2025. Starting with the vision and mission delivery session, each finalist was given the opportunity to speak before the jury.
Finalists convey views, ideas, and real plans related to mangrove conservation, through creative campaigns, community actions, and social innovations. This session was an important moment to assess how much they care and acumen in seeing coastal environmental issues.
Next is the final judging, in this session the judges dig deeper into critical thinking skills, knowledge, leadership, communication skills, to the attitude and personality of the finalists. This process determines who deserves the title of mangrove sons and daughters 2025 and favorite sons and Daughters of mangrove 2025 as well as a young face who will be the ambassador of mangrove conservation.
The long-awaited session, the appearance of talent. In the evening, the atmosphere turned festive with the appearance of the talent of the finalists. In this session, each finalist displays talents that not only demonstrate their artistic, rhetorical, or innovation skills, but also voice concern for environmental issues, especially the preservation of mangrove ecosystems.
Starting from poetry performances, music, theater with environmental themes, to educational presentations, everything is packed with inspiring messages that invite people to be more concerned and involved in real action to save the coastal environment. The cheers of the audience and loud applause are proof that the younger generation is not only insightful, but also full of talents.

Night Peak Coronation Of Mangrove Youth Ambasa 2025
After going through a long series ranging from registration, interviews, to intensive debriefing, the most awaited moment came for the finalists: the peak night of the Mangrove children’s Coronation 2025. That night, the atmosphere of the venue filled with decorations themed mangrove ecosystem looked so majestic and graceful as if depicting the hope for a green future. Spotlights highlight the main stage.
The finalists prepared to display the best parade by looking stunning with typical Malay clothing combined with coastal touches. One by one they entered the stage with confident smiles, waving to the audience who gave a warm welcome. Not only family and friends, but also community leaders, environmental communities, and representatives of local governments were present to witness this historic moment.
This coronation session was given to the Youth Ambassador of Mangrove 2025, the Youth Ambassador of Mangrove Favorite 2025 and the Youth Ambassador of mangrove talented 2025. When the names of Youth Ambassador of Mangrove 2025 were mentioned, cheers and applause rang out all over. The two winners, with their faces full of emotion, stepped forward onto the stage. They were then draped with an award sash and handed over an award plaque that symbolized a great mandate to be an example in the environmental conservation movement.
