Yayasan Mitra Insani (YMI) is a non-governmental organization in the form of a foundation, formed in Pekanbaru on September 24, 1998. The establishment of this institution is dedicated to the achievement of fair Environmental Management, both ecologically and socially, culturally and economically.
Our Vision

The creation of local communities that can manage natural resources, be actively involved in their management, and ensure that local communities benefit from sustainable natural resource management.

Our Mission

Encourage and assist local communities in exploring and improving their knowledge and abilities, discover the potential and problems that exist in the region, as well as utilize the existing potential and find solutions to existing problems.
