TEMBILAHAN pekanbarupos.co) – Mitra Insani Foundation held an annual mangrove Run event in commemoration of World Mangrove day which was attended by more than 300 runner participants, Sunday (27/7).
The atmosphere seemed to spill over into the mangrove Run 2025 event. Where previously in 2024 the Mitra Insani Foundation successfully held an event that was awaited by running sports lovers.
Director of the Mitra Insani Foundation, Herbet LRP, conveyed the commemoration of Mangrove Day 2025, his party again held a mangrove Run. This activity is already the second year and hopefully this event becomes an icon of Indragiri Hilir regency.
‘Because Indragiri Hilir has the largest mangrove area in Riau, mangrove Run is expected to connect the importance of the environment in the sports environment as well”’ he said
This activity, he said, is not just running or fun together, but activities to save the environment, especially mangroves.
According to him, this activity is more inviting to recall that we can exercise, run and all kinds because it is supported by a healthy environment.

So he continued, If it is damaged then we will have difficulty in doing sports activities. He hopes that the mangrove warning in 2025 will further increase public awareness of mangroves.
